- Hey there, I'm Robbie Carmen. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And Rich, this week we are going to talk about iPhones and really mobile phones in general. And you know why? Because they are fantastic cameras. - And if you asked me a couple of years ago I never thought that I would be recommending using a mobile phone as a camera. - Totally. - But they have come so far. In fact, in many ways, you're seeing 4K cell phones, high frame-rate cell phones, but you have to change your production approach. - You do, and I've got to tell you from the quality side of things, I just went on a trip to Japan and I was blown away. Rather than taking out all my gear with all my lenses and all my stabilizers, you know what? Running my iPhone in a little rig like this was great and you know, a lot of film makers have kind of gotten wise to you know, sort of mobile phone and iPhone sort of film making, but as you pointed out, it does take a little bit of a special sort of touch if you will to manage these…
