- Rich, I always think it's a good idea to recap some of the gear that we use during any given week here on Video Gear Weekly because we tend to use you know, little gadgets and doohickeys that we use all the time but don't necessarily talk about so let's dive in and to talk about some of those things. Now Rich, obviously we covered the Lytro Illum camera in detail but this is an amazing little piece of gear. This is a light-field camera that essentially allows you to refocus and change the depth of field of your images in post-production and not have to worry about what's in focus while you're shooting. - [Rich] I had the original Lytro camera, it was very tiny. This one is getting into the realm of producing images that are usable for video production. It is incredibly flexible what you can do. It's not 4K ready yet. I'm sure this technology will continue to grow a bit but it does give you a lot of flexibility to create types of images that are extremely useful for post-production…
