- Every week on Video Gear Weekly, there's lots of little gadgets, doodads, accessories, things we use to get the job done, and we've decided to add an extra bonus segment, sort of a behind-the-scenes on some of that gear. Now, this week we talked about white backdrops, and we went in depth on a lot of the things, but there's just a couple things to think about. First off, one of the cheapest ways to get a light backdrop -- - Is paper. - Yeah, it's cheap, it's affordable, it's disposable, you can order it for about 50 bucks and have it shipped to a hotel room for a job if you're on the road. - And if you tear it, scuff it up, rip it, you're not going to feel the end of the world, and best off, if you have kids, hey, give them the ripped off pieces as extra coloring paper. - There you go, yeah, so this is a great, affordable way to have that seamless backdrop.
