- Alright, this is... and this is going to sound strange. - A metal can? - Nope, it's an IKEA kitchen timer. And the thing was that I actually found this show up on the page when I was shopping for time-lapse equipment. - Really? - Yeah, everyone was like, "People who bought this time-lapse gear, "bought this kitchen timer." I'm like, "Why in the world..." - It must be because of it's industrial design. It looks pretty Apple-esque, you know smooth lines, that kind of thing. - Well here's the deal. You turn this, and it ticks back and slowly turns, counting down. - I see where you're going with this... So in other words, I can have sort of a motorized mood to my time-lapse, which is in pretty, sort of, succinct increments and put a GoPro-- - Yep - on top here with a little sticky plate, right on top. And the next thing you know, I'm doing sort of a panoramic time-lapse. - Yeah, it's too slow for video pans. But it's going to take 20 minutes, in this case, to pan back? Perfect! I nice…
