- So Rich, I'm a big fan of the Atomos Ninja and Shogun, and we'll talk about those on future episodes. They're great disc recorders and monitors, but Atomos has also recently come out with a cool power option. - Yeah. It turns out that if you're going to power things like a disc recorder, or some of these modern 4K cameras, they take a lot of power. And as such, they've come out with this new unit here, which is kind of cool. You see it's got two large Sony batteries attached, and I mean, let's just compare those, Rob, to your typical A7 battery. - Oh, I mean, they're going to last, I mean, exponentially longer. I mean, the A7 battery or other mirrorless batteries, they're very small. I mean, if you're going to go on a shoot with just those batteries, bring a truckload of them, because you're going to constantly be switching them out. - Yeah, actually when I go shooting, I have a case with 20 Sony batteries in, but this lets you shoot a lot longer.
