- Okay so Cheryl, we've talked a lot about the type of headphones that are out there. We've talked about when and when not to use headphones. - [Man] Let's get down to the nitty gritty and the first thing about additional features of headphones of course, the way they sound and you as an audio expert, how do you evaluate the sound of a headphone? What's most important to you? - Well frequency response is huge for me. I prefer to have as broad range of frequency response as I can get and also I prefer a flatter signal meaning I like the headphone not to color the sound as much as possible. Depending on the purpose like for instance - [Woman] the Grado's, they color the sound but it makes it very live. It makes music very pleasurable to listen to. - [Man] Okay. - [Woman] But they're not very flat.
