- [Voiceover] As you work with development environments and you're trying things out, a lot of times one of the benefits of working in a virtualized space is that you can do things called, "Snapshots", or sometimes referred to as "Checkpoints", depending on which version of Hyper-V you're running. Well, a couple of things to keep in mind with Checkpoints and Snapshots. Number One, absolutely what we're doing here is not meant for production. But, Snapshots, in general, need to be understood as, "a point in time". Like, you set things up, you're gonna try some stuff, so maybe you do a Snapshot so that you can go back to what happened before you tried something, in case things get pretty messy. So, it's a "point in time" type of deal. It's "I was here, I wanna try some stuff, "oh it didn't work, I need to go back "to where I was when I started". Generally, it's been considered that it's not a good idea to Snapshot domain controllers. But, when we create this environment we have three…
