- [Instructor] Next, let's talk about another very fundamental concept of SharePoint framework, which is the concept of field customizers. A very central concept at SharePoint has been the concept of lists. So, if I go over here and say add an app, I see document library, custom list, tasks. These three are all, well, they are lists. This is a document library kind of a list. It's a very special kind of list that lets you store documents. This is the simplest possible list. Tasks is a little more complex but it's a list. It's got different columns, different views, basically it allows you to manage tasks. In fact, in older versions of SharePoint, lists were not called apps. They were called lists and document libraries, and in newer versions of SharePoint, they started calling everything an app. I guess that makes sense from an end-user's point of view, these are all apps.
