- [Instructor] Next let's talk about another very exciting extension in SharePoint Framework called as command sets. Let's visit the site contents area again and look at the list that we had created earlier. This is just a custom list with one column in it. There are these buttons up here. When I select a particular item, these buttons can change. What command setts allow you to do is that they allow you target this ribbon up here, allow you to add buttons, your buttons in here, or conditionally add buttons. You can do things like, hey, if I select more than one item here, then show a different set of buttons. Chances are the logic that Microsoft has put up here, they probably built that using SharePoint Framework as well. How can we build our own custom buttons and expose them in the user interface of SharePoint by putting our own application buttons up here? For instance a document that you could select and a button that says send document to and then checks it into an ERP system…
