What are application customizers?
- [Lecturer] Next let's switch gears and talk about SharePoint Framework extensions. There are three kinds of extensions, application cusomizers, field customizers and command sets. Let me start with application customizers. You're looking at a SharePoint site. Now they like to call SharePoint Framework as a development experience on rails. So, so far we've seen the ability to drop a web part in here. You say edit, you drop of web part and yes SharePoint Framework certainly lets you do that. Okay, but sometimes we wish to be able to do other things like for instance I want to inject some script on this page. Or perhaps, modify well-defined areas of this page. Maybe the header, maybe the footer. Now you may remember that there was something called a SharePoint delegate controls.
