What is the Hero web part?
- [Instructor] We have all heard the phrase pictures speak a thousand words, right? Think of websites you visited recently. What attracts your attention the most, a bunch of rambling text or quick visuals? My social media feeds are full of these things called memes and I'm more likely to pay attention to those than I am to even read a short status update. How about you? The Hero web part is the cornerstone of the new, visually appealing format provided by the SharePoint communication site. You can display up to five items on the Hero web part that display images, text, and color blocks that draw attention and complement each other and draw attention to your content. One Hero web part is included by default in both the topic and the showcase templates but can be added to any page. In some cases, you may need multiple Hero web parts on a page and that's okay, too.
