From the course: SharePoint 2013: Installing and Configuring a Test Environment

Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Spike Xaver, and welcome to SharePoint 2013 Installing and Configuring a Test Environment. In this course we'll look at preparing a Windows 8.1 client machine for the installation and configuration of a SharePoint environment, which can be used for learning the product and prototyping ideas. I'll start off by showing you how to do the entire process from configuring the host Windows 8.1 machine, to use Hyper-V, to creating, installing, and configuring three virtual machines, which will work together to provide a wonderful learning environment. We will even go into downloading, installing, and configuring workflow manager and connecting it to our farms, so that we can work with the new SharePoint designer 2013 workflows. We'll be covering all of these features, plus plenty of other tools and techniques. Now let's get started with SharePoint 2013 Installing and Configuring a Test Environment.
