- [Narrator] Let's talk again about security in relation to your CMS. As I talked about earlier in the course, security for your CMS has two major components. First, content needs classification by its level of sensitivity and its intended audience. For example, is this content destined for public consumption on a website or other externally published information or does it need to be restricted to a high level executive layer internally? You need rules around this but the rules need to be simple enough that everyone can follow them. And you need to have a process in place to deal with the inevitable exception. Pretty much any CMS is going to be able to track content by this characteristic in one way or another. Now this could be a good argument for using categories with parent categories in WordPress. The parent category could be your content classification level and then use a sub category for the individual topics.…
