- [Instructor] There are some things that you will need if you wish to work along with me in this course. First, you will need to have Power Apps. Power Apps is included with many of the subscriptions for Office 365 and Dynamics 365. If you were working with one of these Cloud based products you may already have an institutional account for Power Apps. And if you don't, I'll show you later in this movie how to sign up for Power Apps. Then you need SharePoint. Either SharePoint Online, which is what I will be using, or SharePoint 2016. And if you are using SharePoint 2016 you also need an on premises data gateway to be able to connect Power Apps to SharePoint. You may not need to create this, it might already exist even if this is the first use of Power Apps in your organization. Because Power Apps uses the same gateway that Power BI and Microsoft Flow use. If you already have a gateway, great.
