- [Instructor] Okay, we've got our workbook with all of our Power Pivot tables and Power Views, and we've got our SharePoint, BI Center, ready to go, so now what do we do? Well, we want to do a little prep work before we upload the workbook into SharePoint. This may not strictly be a requirement, but believe me, it's gonna make your life a lot easier going forward, so it's totally worth the effort. I strongly recommend that you name any elements in your workbook that you want to publish to your dashboard. Excel automatically creates names for everything, but they're super generic: table one, chart one, so on. When it comes time to publish your information into your BI Center, it can be pretty hard to figure out what's what if you don't take the time to rename it first. You'll want to rename charts and tables for sure, and you can also rename specific ranges if necessary. When you're naming elements, don't use spaces or special characters.
