- [Instructor] The other type of portal we need to discuss now in MOSS 2007 is the publishing portal. Now if you're an administrator or at least someone with administrator privileges, you'll have access to the publishing portal template to create a portal like the one you see here on my screen. I created this one earlier with the name Learning Materials, and that's why you see that up in the top left corner. Notice that the look and feel, and the structure of a publishing portal is a whole lot different from what we saw in the previous lesson when we took a look at collaboration portals. Now the other thing that's very different and important to know is that by default, users are only able to create sub-sites within a publishing portal based on one template, the publishing site with workflow template.
