Learn how to choose, purchase, and implement a content management solution (CMS) for enterprise business.
- [Instructor] Any time you send a communication to a customer, any time you assemble a report, any time you put together a product catalog, you're gonna have one common element. All these things contain content. And with the continued growth of consumable information, the amount of content that businesses need to create, distribute, and manage gets bigger and bigger every day. My name's Phil Gold, I'm a long time communications and training professional and I've seen first hand how content is managed. And sometimes mismanaged.
In this course, I'm gonna give you a grounding on content management and content management systems. I'll explain fundamentals and define terms for you and we'll examine aspects of content management strategy and some tools that are available. My intent is to help you understand the concepts and give you some things to think about if you are currently considering purchasing or implementing a content management system. I'll be able to show you some examples using Microsoft SharePoint and WordPress, which happens to be currently the most popular content management tool around.
