- [Instructor] Next, let's talk about upgrading SharePoint Framework solutions. Written code just doesn't go away. We deploy it, users use it, and then suddenly they have a new requirement, and we need to upgrade our code. What is the process of upgrading existing SharePoint Framework solutions? There are two distinct scenarios that you need to consider about and I'll be talking about. One is SharePoint Framework solutions that provision SharePoint assets. That would be a SharePoint Framework solution that's a provisions a new list, a new content type, ex cetera. And second, SharePoint Framework solutions that rely on code. As in they have a web part, and the web part downloads some Java Script, perhaps shows you the weather or something like that. Certainly you can also have a single solution with both of these scenarios combined.
