- [Instructor] Another option for data visualization…is to create a Quick Chart.…The manager just wants a quick snapshot…of where we are from quarter to quarter,…and I've been given a very busy spreadsheet,…so let me show you what that looks like.…As you can see, there's a lot of information here.…It's broken down by quarter, by revenue type,…and truly all we wanted are what…the anticipated revenue is by quarter.…There are four numbers on this page…that are important to me.…Reformatting all this just so…I can create a chart is too much work.…Luckily, I can use the Quick Chart web part…and add it directly to the page.…
To add a Quick Chart, first let's put the page in edit mode,…and then click the insert web part button.…This is a Quick Chart, so let's search for that,…and then select it from the options.…We have a place holder for our chart,…but now we need to build it out.…Let's edit the web part.…We have several sections here,…so let me collapse them so we can focus.…
First of all we have the layout section.…What type of chart would you like to display?…
