- [Instructor] Let's start working on creating a new palette, and then attaching that to a theme. To see what's already existing, we need to go to the site settings page. Under web designer galleries, we're looking for composed looks. If you can't see this, I'm very sorry, but you're either working in the modern experience or you don't have sufficient permissions. We'll click in here. Now this provides a display of all of the composed looks, or themes, that are currently a part of the site. We'll spend a little more time here later, but for the moment, what concerns us is the third column, the theme URL. These files are the palette definitions. I've got one open in Notepad. Let's take a look. Here's what a color palette file looks like. It's pretty straightforward XML, but of slightly limited value. I mean, how many of us know hex codes by heart?
