Create an external group
- [Instructor] There are times that it's beneficial to collaborate with people who are not employees of your organization, who are not in your Active Directory, and that's where Yammer external groups come to play. For example, you might have a team that requires some input from suppliers or vendors. You might have a team that needs to have conversations with customers, perhaps a handful of people in a focus group or from consultants who don't have email addresses on your domain and who are not part of your Yammer network. You might need to include subject matter experts of any type, individuals that you want to include on more than a temporary conversational basis. You would like them to be part and parcel of the new group that you are creating. If you have people like that, you want to create an external group in Yammer.
