Create an SPFx web part
- [Instructor] With our dev environment set up, now let's go ahead and create our first SharePoint Framework artifact, which is a web part. It's actually very easy to do so. Let's go ahead and create our directory. Let's call it spfxwebpart. Let's go into that folder, and now let's run yo at microsoft slash sharepoint. Now, when you invoke this yeoman generator, it'll ask you a lot of questions. In order to generate a web part, you can simply hit enter enter enter, and it'll accept all the defaults and it'll create a perfectly working solution for you. But let me explain what all these questions mean. The first one is pretty obvious. What is your solution name? So I'll just go with spfxwebpart. Remember, one solution can contain multiple artifacts, so our solution is going to contain a simple web part. You can have more than a web part, you can have web part and extensions. Next question, whether you want to target SharePoint Online or SharePoint on premises, 2016 onwards. So little…
