Configuring My Sites

- I rebooted the SharePoint server, logged in as spadmin and launched the Central Administration site, and I got "something went wrong, sorry." I'm not gonna stress on this too much. I'm actually just gonna close this and try it again. Occasionally, that happens, and it just sort of is waiting for something that didn't fire up. We'll see if I can get it to launch this time, and there we go. What I'm gonna do now is I'm gonna start to configure MySites cause I wanna try and learn about some of the social computing features of SharePoint 2013, which are very powerful. Of course, since I'm the only one that's gonna be using this system, I have to fake it a little bit as far as the social interactions. But what I'm gonna do first is create a new web application, so I'll click Manage web applications, and I'm gonna say New. I'm gonna fill out the form. I'm gonna put this on port 80 and I'm gonna use the host header my.sharepoint.pri. I'll hit tab. I'll scroll down. I'll leave all these as…
