- [Instructor] SharePoint sites an contain a lot of content. And how do we make that easily en viewable and consumable by our audience? Pages allow you to create a dashboard or portals into what I call the bones of your SharePoint site. We display the content using what people call widgets. But in SharePoint speak, they're technically known as web parts. Think of them as the building blocks on your page. When you add a web page to a website, you can add an customize which web parts are displayed. These could include simple content, like text, images, files and videos. But more importantly you can create these little windows that peek into content such as lists and libraries, calendars and more. You can even display content that comes from external sources, such as websites and social media.
