Learn how to use the Link web part to link to other web-based content such as sites, videos, images, or documents.
- [Instructor] There may be times where it would be helpful…just to have the link on the webpage.…For example, your site administrators might put limitations…on what you can share directly on your webpage.…Or let's say, your browser doesn't really like the content.…So let's give them a link so they access…that content themselves.…We do that using the link web part.…First we need to capture the link that we want…to add to the page.…And that again, is our YouTube video.…So let's go capture that link.…On the YouTube page, using the share options,…the link is on the bottom.…
So let's select that item.…And then copy it to the clipboard.…And then return back to the page.…To add the link, first put the page in edit mode.…And then place the web part.…Let's search for the link web part.…And then select it from the options.…Next we need to paste the link here.…Notice that it's loading a preview.…So this is an alternative, personally it's not my favorite…because it leaves the raw link.…
I like to use text and add a link but, this is up to you.…
