Adding a link to a view of a list or library

- [Instructor] To help users quickly locate content, customize the navigation by adding links to specific views customize the navigation by adding links to specific views of lists or libraries. of lists or libraries. First, select the view of the list or library. Next, copy the web address. Next, copy the web address. Use the shortcut Ctrl + A to easily select a long string. Right-click and select copy. In the quick launch navigation, select the home site. To edit the navigation, click edit links at the bottom of the quick launch navigation. To add our link, click the add link button. In the text to display field, go ahead and type the name of the link. In the address field, let's paste the URL that we just captured and then click OK. If needed, you can reorder the links by dragging and dropping them. When finished, click the save button. Users will now have their most relevant information at their fingertips.
