- [Instructor] Every Yammer group is required to have at least one administrator, and the best practice is to have two of them. By default the person who creates a group is the first administrator for the group. The reason that it's a good idea to have two is that there are specific actions that require the permissions of an admin, and I like to have a life that allows me to take vacations. Therefore I need a second admin. I've already talked to Charles about doing this. Let me show you how it works. I'm going to go to the members area. That's actually a hyperlink. If I click it. Here we are. Note, I'm the admin. I'm going to click the gear button, and make Charles an admin too just like that. Now I can revoke his admin privileges or mine at any time.
