- [Instructor] Something about the modern experience that will be of special benefit to site owners and administrators are the improved and expanded site templates. Microsoft really understood that the vast majority of sites fall into two basic categories: team sites, and communication sites. So instead of a big laundry list of other specialized sites, when you opt for a new site or sub-site, these two choices are shown first. Compare that with the old experience. There's a lot more to wade through here. Now, if you need a more specialized site in the modern experience, you can still get it. You just have to dig a little bit deeper. Creating sites is now super easy, and there's a bit more freedom in naming conventions. The templates themselves are better thought out than the classic site templates.
