- [Instructor] This is a corollary to less flexibility. In the modern experience, some of the ability that people historically had in the classic experience is no longer available, at least for now. A big example, in the classic experience, you could create custom CSS to define page elements and other styling for your site. This allowed site designers a lot of flexibility and was useful when there were strict company design guidelines to follow. In the modern experience, this is much more restricted. Basically, you cannot make changes to the CSS of modern pages. This means your formatting is going to be restricted to the built-in, on-board tool. Now, for me, the problem isn't so much about the cosmetics. I'm a bit cynical about branding sites overall, and there's still a lot that you can do.
