Picking a site palette

- [Instructor] Let's talk about some things that you can do around look and feel for your modern site. Now, this is a bit of a mixed bag. There are some things that work well and easily compared to classic, and some stuff, not so much. Now, in the classic site, site palette choice was handled via the site theme. There is a themes control when you click the gear icon on the home page, but these choices only control the O365 bar. Instead, you need to go to site settings, and then you need to click change the look. Now, once here, you can select from various pre-configured site themes. The themes include fonts, too, as well as some background images. You can use themes to control the layout of your navigation, as well, whether you wanted the left-sided Seattle navigation or Oslo navigation along the top of the page, and changes would be rolled through the entire site.
