Modify and create list and library views
- [Instructor] Being able to create alternate views for SharePoint lists and libraries is critical for effective data management. So it's very important to understand how the modern experience differs from the classic experience. Now, here's a list in the classic view. And we've got a few different ways to access the different views for the list. The simplest is right above the data, I've got a couple of views showing here, there will usually show, there's like three or four views that will show, if there's more than that, you'll have to click the ellipsis to see those. But you can just click on the different view name and it will change to that different view. There we go. This one includes the sum, click back. And there we go. Now we can also go up to the List tab in the ribbon and we can see information there about which view that we're in and we can move to different views from here. And we can also create a…
