- [Instructor] To a greater or lesser degree, everyone using SharePoint can use this course. If you're a site or site collection manager, there are differences in the way sites are defined and organized that will affect the way you provision subsites for your users. Site designers are going to be very interested in how the modern experience changes the way you work with site colors, themes, and navigation. People who create and manage SharePoint Listen Libraries will need to make some adjustments, too. There are new tools that will make adding and configuring standard columns much simpler. And just plain old users will be affected, from the way that they update lists to the way that they use information and to the way that they interact with their team members. The modern experience is designed in part to boost collaboration and teamwork, but that will be hard to do if you don't know where the tools are. Even if your organization is still using the classic experience for all sites, Microsoft is getting more and more directive in their releases. All new online sites default to the modern experience now. You have to make a concerted effort to avoid it. And I have to tell you, that probably won't last. Eventually, you're going to be using the modern experience, too. I want to help you get ready for that so it isn't such a shock when it happens.
