- [Instructor] As I've said, I was never really crazy about SharePoint workflows. Out of the box, the classic experience didn't give you much to work with. Basically, all you could do was create a simple Three-state workflow. Now, people were able to expand on that by using additional tools, mostly InfoPath or SharePoint Designer, but both of these carried a burden. They weren't really all that easy to use, and SharePoint Designer, in particular, could really mess up your site badly if you weren't careful. And both those tools are on the road to obsolescence. There will be no further updates to either one, and end-of-life dates have been announced. However, using SharePoint in the modern experience means that you can jump directly from lists and libraries into Microsoft Flow. If you haven't used Flow yet, you're in for a treat.
