Differences in the menu bar and ribbon

- [Speaker] Let's take a closer look at the differences in controls for lists and libraries. Now the classic experience was really similar between the two. You started with the tabs at the top of the page for browse, item, and list. And if it was a library, it was browse, files, and library. And when you clicked on the item or the file tab, you'd open up the ribbon and that would give you a series of different controls. And item controls included, edit, view, delete, create an alert, or kick off a workflow. The controls that weren't currently active were grayed out, but visible. List or library controls gave you a bit more, including changing, modifying, or creating views, and getting to the list settings page, where you can control things like permissions and versioning.
