Customizing list forms in modern

- [Instructor] SharePoint list forms provide an easy way to input and edit data. In SharePoint On-Prem, if you needed to customize these input forms beyond the Out of the Box functionality, InfoPath was often used. If we look at a standard SharePoint list form, there's not much we can modify. We can change the order in which the fields show and designate ones we require, but that's about it. If you wanted to do something beyond that, like show or hide fields or perhaps make a two-column layout, that's when InfoPath was usually used. You could click the List tab and Customize Form to customize your SharePoint list forms in InfoPath. With InfoPath reaching its end of life soon in 2026, you need to think of a new way to handle your customizations in modern SharePoint. That's where PowerApps comes in.
