- [Instructor] Let's talk about something that I think is much better in the modern experience. List input forms in SharePoint have historically been a little sad and back in the good old days they were downright ugly. They got better over time, but many people were still dissatisfied. They wanted to be able to control the look of the forms more than SharePoint allowed out of the box. So, they turned to things like InfoPath and JavaScript and other third party tools, like Nintex or Ultimate Forms. Now the modern experience default form is a lot nicer than the classic. It appears right in the same window as a panel on the right rather than opening in a new screen, but there are a couple of oddities about it. Like, it always shows the title field even if you've hidden it, and it always shows an attachment field even if you don't have one to add on your list, and people still like the thought of making their forms prettier.…
