- [Narrator] I have never understood why people don't use SharePoint surveys more often, they're a great tool! You can build quite involved surveys with conditionals and branching statements. Now it's true, there's a limited amount of styling available, so they're not as pretty as you can get with some third party tools. But they're free and it's easier to distribute them to people in the organization, since they're coming from an internal source. Did you realize that many people have rules to send surveys from other sources, directly to trash? Well, surveys in the modern experience are similar to the situation with task list. If you add a survey from the Add An App page, you still get a classic style survey and there is no point trying to put it into a modern view, you'll just mess it up.
