- [Instructor] Classic SharePoint allowed you to go a couple of steps further with look and feel customizations if necessary. When you were selecting a new theme for you say, you had some flexibility built in, for example, you could select a basic theme, or you could select one with some fancy background to it and then change or remove the background as desired. You could also change the colors, and you could change the navigation from Seattle to Oslo, and you could even change the fonts within a certain range. You can still do this in the modern experience, but a lot of your selections are overwritten by Microsoft's defaults. Okay, now I need to open the map. It also possible to build a custom theme that defined colors for every element individually using Microsoft's theme building tool.
