Adding a site to a hub

- Once you've evaluated your site architecture and built out a hub site structure, you can start associating your sites to your hubs. Let's walk through how to add a site to a hub. There are two ways to associate a site to a hub, first in the site collection itself or you can do that in the SharePoint admin portal. Let's take a look at how to do that from the site first. Here I am on my Landon Hotel IT site. If I want to associate this site to my Landon Hotel hub, I can click the gear and go to Site Information. You'll see an option down here for hub site association. This will show a list of all the hub sites, which I can join to. In this case, I want to join to the LandonHub. Click save to apply. Notice, when I join the LandonHub site, it automatically took in the LandonHub branding and the LandonHub navigation. If you go into the gear and you don't see Site Information in here, that means since you're only a member of the site, therefore you can't add it to a hub. You have a to be…
