- [Voiceover] So let's say we want to create a wiki server on the server called mail.landonhotels.com. Great, okay fine. And we want people to be able to go to it using the name "wiki.landonhotels.com" because while we're starting up the wiki server on that server, maybe we have plans to long term move it to a different piece of hardware. Whatever. You know people are going to bookmark wiki.landonhotels.com and we want those bookmarks to stick, right. We want people to have that be able to stay. We want to be able to change that I.P. address over time and make it easy for us. So, a c-name is perfect for that. So, let's click the plus button and let's just say, you know, "wiki" assuming wiki and that would be concluded with .landonhotels.com as with all the rest of these we select c-name from our list of types, again, priorities only apply to M.X. records so we don't have to worry about that and the alias or I.P. address, well this case it's going to be an alias because we're setting…
