- Now, that we've taken a brief look at IPAM, let's go ahead and look at IPAM Provisioning. IPAM Provisioning refers to using the provisioning IPAM Wizard. This wizard can be used to automatically create the IPAM database. It can also be used to create IPAM security groups. Finally, it can be used to configure access with IPAM task and folders. The IPAM Provisioning Wizard also has some other uses. One such use is it can be used to determine how you want to configure the infrastructure servers on your network. It also allows you to configure those servers manually. The IPAM Provisioning Wizard also allows you to configure your servers using Group Policy. In fact, in most situations, it is the Group Policy you would use to configure your servers. Now that we've talked a little bit about the IPAM provisioning, let's go and see how we actually do IPAM provisioning.
