Configure zone transfer settings

- Now let's talk about something called zone transfers. Zone Transfer Settings control transfers to secondary DNS zones. The transfers can be set up using the DNS Manager console or they can be done using the cmdlet command, Set-DNSServerPrimaryZone cmdlet. When setting up DNS zone transfer options, there's several different options you can choose from. One option in the To any server option. This option allows any server on the network to request zone transfer information. This includes servers you don't even know about and it also includes servers that you don't have any management or control over. Another option you have is the Only to servers listed on the Name Servers tab option. Using this option means only the servers that have been designated on the Name Server tab are allowed to request zone transfers.
