There are four sections you can use in a Robot Framework script file.
- Now we're almost ready to create our first script file…but let's first talk about the sections…that are going to go into the script file.…This is really pretty easy to understand.…When you create a robot framework script,…you typically going to have all of these sections…in your script file.…At the top there will be a settings section,…then a variables section, a test cases section,…and optionally, a keywords section.…The reason I say optional is because for a simple script,…you could in fact keep the lower level keywords…you're going to use in your script file.…But typically what we do is we create a separate…resources directory and we create a keywords file…and we compose our lower level keywords in there…instead of putting the keywords on the script itself.…
So here's a little bit of information…about what goes into each section of a script file.…In settings, we can have a documentation line…which basically just includes some general information…about the site, then one or more library lines…which declare which libraries you're going to use…
