Recording a FaceTime or webcam camera
- ScreenFlow can capture the video from your built-in FaceTime camera or a webcam as a separate dedicated track by checking the Record Video From option, and then selecting your web camera. Since my computer is outside of my booth, I'll select my webcam. You get a preview of your camera in the window, but during the recording, this window goes away, so if you have a second display, open your recording monitor by going up to your menu bar and selecting Show Recording Monitor, and then move this off to a second screen if you have one. At the bottom of the window, you also have a drop-down menu where you can select the size for your recording. I'll leave mine set to 1280 by 720, which'll match my project settings.
