- [Narrator] Now let's take the text tool to the next level by using the build animations feature to bring our animated intro to life. If you're following along, I'm in the text animation project where I've cleaned up a few of the settings from the last movie. Select the episode text box and then scroll down to the bottom of the text panel. Check the box for build in animation and twirl open the settings. There are eight types of animations that you can choose from. Each one has a duration slider that controls how many seconds the animation will take to fully build in and the check box for fade characters that changes the opacity of the characters from zero to 100 percent automatically throughout the build, but that's where the similarities end. Each animation has its own set of parameters and characteristics that you can tweak to your liking. You can preview the current animation settings by pressing the preview animation button here.
