Video Sensing

- [Instructor] One of the new and interesting features in Scratch 3.0 is the video sensing feature that is available under the Extensions tab. Before using this feature, make sure your computer has a webcam installed and it can be switched on and off from the computer. The video sensing blocks can be accessed by clicking on Extensions and then clicking on the video sensing blocks. The video sensing block family has four blocks. One which controls the video camera. It turns it on and off. One that helps that control the motion, that checks to see if the motion in the video can control the sprite. The last one is the video transparency that helps the video sense a sprite and Scratch sense the video motion. Let us now look at a couple of snip-its of code that I have designed for this purpose.
