- [Instructor] As we navigate through the new Scratch 3.2, we will focus on the basic layout and terminology we used in this video course. This will help understand the upcoming videos better. I have a Scratch program designed and running to help illustrate the concepts and terms. In order to run a program, click on the green flag, and to stop all programs execution, click on the stop button. Notice how, when you want to pick a programming block, you can either click on a block family such as motion, looks, sound, et cetera, or you can scroll down the programming blocks. The color coding helps easily identify the functionality. Scratch provides three views for use while designing programs. The larger coding view, the larger display view, and the full screen control mode. In all the videos, I have used the the larger display view.
