- [Deepa] Learning to program doesn't require that you be a math whiz or an expert at solving logic puzzles. By using a fun programming tool like Scratch, you can learn basic skills to solve problems with computer code. Scratch is an introductory programming language that allows beginners to create programs quickly. Through this block-based programming language, you can create fun projects such as games or stories that teach programming concepts of sequencing, selection, and iteration in a fun, non-intimidating way. It is a fantastic head fake. You learn a lot about the basics of computer programming while having fun. In this course, I will give you an overview of Scratch 3.0 and highlight the key changes from previous versions. Along the way, I create some cool programming projects to show off features like extensions and video sensing. And I encourage you to follow along to unleash your creativity and learn to design your own Scratch programs. Hi, I'm Deepa Muralidhar. I'm a computer science content specialist. I teach people to write computer programs. So, join me in my LinkedIn Learning course about Scratch 3.0.
