- [Narrator] Let us quickly see the differences between the previous versions of Scratch and the latest Scratch 3.0 version to understand better how programming capabilities have improved in this version. All Scratch 2.0 programs will be compatible with Scratch 3.0. Here are some of the key differences. In Scratch 3.0, the user interface has completely changed. The layout of the Scratch program editor has been modified. The costume editor has been greatly enhanced for sprites and backgrounds. The sound editor is greatly enhanced and allows for editing of sound waves. The search feature for sprites, backgrounds, and sound gallery has now been included. There are categories through which it is possible to do a search or do a search through the entire gallery. Finally, Extension, this has again been greatly enhanced in Scratch 3.0.
