Your first scan
- [Instructor] Now that we have all of our parameters set and our project set up, we can do our first scan, either by clicking the hardware button on the front of the scanner or the green button on the software. Here we'll get our estimated scan time remaining. Depending on your scanner settings, you can have the scanner beep while it's actively scanning, and then a second beep after it's complete. You'll see red lights flashing, indicating that it's scanning, and once they're complete, it'll turn solid blue. Once the scan is complete, we'll have a preview on screen. If we're satisfied with the results, then we can move on to our next scan. The scanner first takes the laser measurements, then it takes photographs, and then it records the inclinometer value. (scanner beeps) And there we are.
